The map only shows markers when they come from real events. In this version markers are not generated yet — the map shows the center and the layer type.
Without NEWS_API_KEY, NewsAPI is skipped with a warning and the monitor uses only the other sources. With the key, it joins in. Each click makes at most 1 NewsAPI call.
In this version, balance 0 for new wallets is normal: there is no deposit, internal purchase or billing yet. The ledger only exists for the next phase.
